December 18, 2021

The annual Children's Christmas Party will be held for children 12 and older. Due to the pandemic, it is strongly requested that every precaution be taken to remain safe. There will be a steady flow of people going in and out, there should be no lingering and socializing in the building as in the past. We apologize but we have everyone's safety in mind. Mask and social distancing are strongly recommended.

During the month of November, the 2021 John S. McCain, AZ JROTC Leadership Competition was held at our home Post 41, thanks to Jesus Hernandez, a video was created on this program and submitted through Sr. Vice Olivas to be shared with the public and membership. October 8, 2021

On October 7, 2021, General Membership Meeting vacant positions were filled and are now reflected under the Post Officers and Executive Committee tabs on the website. The Service Officer has indicated that their every effort will be made to be present at the Post Home on Thursdays for any assistance that may be required. Contact number is also included on the two listed tabs.

July 30, 2021

Captain Henry "Buster" Villalobos and the American Legion Post 41 Honor Guard were presented with a plaque and challenge coins for distinguished and meritorious service to Arizona's Veterans and their families. The plaque plate reads "For your unrivaled devotion and selfless service in supporting the AZARNG Military Funeral Honors Program. Your actions are in keeping with the finest traditions of the United States Military." 2021. During the month of July, the Honor Guard provided services for 26 veterans and families at the National Cemetery as well as 4 at private cemeteries.

June 18, 2021

It was a very tight contest with the candidates who ran for the office of Post Commander! And the winner is - Frank Diaz!

The new Incoming Post Commander Diaz was Installed Tuesday, June 15th and his new administration will take office after the American Legion Department Convention on June 24-27th. Congratulations to Post Commander Frank Diaz!

April 21, 2021

The Post operating hours are Wednesday thru Saturday from 3 PM to 9 PM, and Sunday from 12 noon to 9 PM with karaoke on Wed and Fri. Sunday is tardeada 4 PM to 7 PM in the Fuentes Hall.

Wacky Wed has returned on Wed., Fish Fry or Steak Night on Fri., Sunday breakfast from 9 AM to 11:30 AM

New Officers Election was held 2021-2022 in May: 1st call for nominations is May 6th during the Thursday General Meeting for May. On Thursday, May 13th the Rally Night was held at 7 PM. Elections Day was Thursday, May 20th from 11 AM to 7 PM.

If you plan to be out of town and unable to come to vote, you may vote by Absentee Ballot. You must mail your request by May 14th in time for a ballot to be sent to you, then returned to the Post by Election Day.

The Post operates on a limited-time basis in the Ronda Room only. The Ronda Room is open to its members Wednesday thru Saturday from 3 PM to 9 PM. and Sunday from 12 Noon to 9 PM.
