By now, all members of Post 41 on record should have received an ELECTION NOTICE postcard by US mail. It reads, in part as follows: "The Coronavirus pandemic has created a health safety risk to members and has brought about the cancellations of the 2020 Department Convention, June 25-28, 2020 in Mesa, Arizona and the 2020 American Legion National Convention, August 28-September 3, in Louisville, Kentucky."

Also, the Department of Arizona Executive Committee, in special session adopted Resolution A: Cancellation Department of Arizona 2020 Department Convention and Disposition of Department Officers.

This Resolution provides, per the National Constitution, Article XVI, Section 1 that all elected Department, District, and Post officers continue serving in their current positions until the close of the next Department Convention scheduled in Mesa, Arizona from June 24, 2021 through June 27, 2021.

The Department of Arizona Executive Committee now strongly urges that all Department of Arizona's American Legion Posts, American Legion Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion all follow this course of action.

What this means is that all currently serving officers will all continue in their same positions through the next administration until the next election in 2021!  We look forward to the next Post Membership Monthly Meeting, whenever that will be possible so we can ask questions then!
